Suomenlinna Fortress
The Suomenlinna Fortress is on a chain of islands off the coast of Helsinki and houses a priceless collection of history and culture. Behind the six km of defence walls with tunnels and lovely grounds, the Suomenlinna Fortress is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a museum. Actually, there are many museums on the property that offer guided tours on a regular basis. There are walking trails designated with blue flags that go to the main sites and museums on the island.
Löyly Sauna
Löyly is Helsinki’s urban sanctuary, where you may unwind and have an unforgettable experience. The term derives from the steam that rises when water is on hot stones. Löyly is a novel concept of a classic public sauna combined with a restaurant that aims to revitalise Finland’s public sauna culture. The structure is into two sections: saunas and a restaurant with a view of the sea. There are three saunas to select from: wood-heated, once-heated, and smoke saunas.
Allas Sea Pool
Allas Sea Pool is one of Helsinki’s greatest attractions, and every visitor should go at least once! The public complex, which is close to Market Square, has swimming areas, three saunas, a café, and a restaurant with spectacular views of the Baltic Sea and SkyWheel Helsinki. The waters of the Baltic are regularly cleansed in one of the swimming pools by a UV water treatment system. Enter the pool with caution because the water is chilly! A kid’s pool is also available for water exercises. The saunas are into three categories: men’s, women’s, and special reservations. The 2nd floor of Allas Sea Pool is home to Seagrill Beach House, a seafood restaurant serving tropical drinks.
Helsinki Cathedral
The central attraction is to the opposite side of Senate Square and attracts a large number of tourists. The Helsinki Cathedral hosts a prayer session with organ music every day at noon. The parish will sing with the choir, a tradition of the Lutheran Church dating back to the 16th century. The cathedral charges a voluntary admission fee that is only valid during visitation hours. Donations are to the congregation.

Uspenski Cathedral
The church’s magnificence is its location: it is on the highest hill in the district and features a 33-meter-high dome. The church’s 13 domes can be from every angle in Katajanokka. It is a shining example of Russian historical impact in Finland. Uspenski Cathedral is a popular pilgrimage site for the wonderworking icon of the Mother of God, the Kozelshchyna, a precious treasure of the Finnish Orthodox Church.
Market Square
Market Square in Helsinki is a renowned area for fresh products and eateries serving fresh meals. Aside from delicious food, you may also find handicrafts, souvenirs, jewellery, and apparel. On the market, you may also find unusual items such as reindeer skin and Russian fur caps. The Esplanade Boulevard and Market Square are always packed, but in October, it holds the oldest Helsinki Baltic Herring Market, which has been held since 1743.
