DEMING – The Nationwide Federation of Impartial Enterprise named state Rep. Candie Sweetser, D-Deming, a Guardian of Small Enterprise for her management and voting report through the 2021-2022 session of the New Mexico State Legislature.
Sweetser was introduced her Guardian Award at NFIB-member enterprise, D.H. Lescombes Vineyard.
“NFIB’s prestigious Guardian of Small Enterprise Award is reserved for legislators who vote constantly with small enterprise on key points recognized by small-business house owners,” stated Jason Espinoza, New Mexico state director for NFIB. Notably noteworthy, in keeping with Espinoza, is her braveness to face with small enterprise even when it means not voting together with her caucus.
For the 2021-2022 session, NFIB graded New Mexico state representatives on specific points. Sweetser earned an ideal pro-small-business voting report, in keeping with the information launch.
Sweetser’s thirty second state Home District contains elements of Grant, Hidalgo and Luna counties. She and her household make their house in Deming.
